Recorded Zoom classes the week of 6 September 2021

Hi Everyone

The links to our schedule of 9 Zoom classes each week is here. Recordings of this week’s classes are below. We have four children and junior grade classes, two adult and senior grade classes, one for Taekwon-Do Kubz, one for parents and children, and one for the Boosabum Development Squad.

Monday 6 September 2021, children and junior grades

Note: screen corrects to image of instructor at 10:00 mins.
Warm up, saju jirugi variations (feet only, double movements, slow motion, super fast, use hip and sine wave, correct stances, full power), saju makgi fundamental movements, saju makgi, Chon-Ji, Dan-Gun, kicks over a chair to lift the knee, warm down and stretch, prepare for training (go to the toilet before class).

Monday 6 September 2021, Boosabum Development Squad

Warm up footwork with a noodle, speed in patterns using pattern sequences (normal speed, fast motion, continuous motion, connecting motion, slow motion), patterns in slow motion and normal speed with detailed feedback, warm down and stretch.

Tuesday 7 September 2021, children and junior grades

Warm up (joint rotations, running and kicking the spot), dynamic leg stretches, sitting stance techniques, fundamental movements from Dan-Gun, patterns, Dan-Gun, warm down and stretch.

Tuesday 7 September 2021, adults and senior grades

Warm up (joint rotations, running and kicking the spot), dynamic leg stretches, fundamental movements at each grade (slow for trajectory, then normal speed), own pattern (slow motion for trajectories, normal speed), warm down and stretch.

Wednesday 8 September 2021, children and junior grades

Joint rotations, fundamental movements to warm up, dynamic leg stretches, basic kick trajectories (with a chair, then without a chair), patterns (tips for four direction punch, four direction block, Chon-Ji, Dan-Gun, Do-San), warm down and stretch.

Thursday 9 September 2021, children and junior grades

Warm up, sitting stance techniques, dynamic leg stretches, basic kicks (front, turning, side), rock-paper-scissors with kicks, free sparring drills, fundamental movements for saju jirugi and saju makgi, saju jirugi, patterns, Chon-Ji, quick stretch.

Thursday 9 September 2021, adults and senior grades

Joint rotations, fundamental movements spot technique warmup, dynamic kicks stretching, leg strength (on hands and knees), kick trajectories and strength (with chair), warm down and stretch.

Saturday 11 September 2021, Taekwon-Do Kubz

Warm up exploring the jungle, punching drills, stop it I don’t like it, cushion work with punching and kicking, fire safety and creating an escape plan, Kubz handbook, relaxing breaths and helping at home.

Saturday 11 September 2021, parent and child class

Create a fire escape plan, joint rotations, warm up with fundamental movements, fundamental movements for saju jirugi and saju makgi, punching and kicking drills, saju jirugi, saju makgi, Chon-Ji, Dan-Gun, 3-step sparring (9th and 8th gup), warm down and stretch.
