IMPORTANT: pregrading, grading and year end barbeque

Hi everyone

It is almost the end of 2015. Here is some important information to record in your diary:

Pregrading

Gup grades (Taekwon-Do coloured belts), to be eligible to grade at the end of this term, you must:

• complete sufficient sessions (blue and above 32, blue stripe and below 24, young children up to yellow stripe 7, young children up to yellow belt 12)
• pass a pregrading (formal grades only, ie, not for young children mini-grades)
• complete the report sheet (6-8 and 9-12 year old classes)
• pass a theory test
• pay the grading fee.

Pregrading will be held during classes the week of Monday 30 November.  Do not miss your pregrading! (9-12yos and above must attend BOTH classes during pregrading week, unless you make prior arrangements with the instructor.)

Invoices for those grading will be issued the weekend of 5-6 December, and they must be paid before the grading.

Grading

Grading will be held the week of Monday 14 December during classes. Do not miss your grading! (9-12yos and above must attend BOTH classes during grading week, unless you make prior arrangements with the instructor.)  Kubz grading will be on Saturday 19 December.

Grading results will be awarded at the end of year barbeque.

Train hard and prepare well! Ensure you know all of the syllabus from your syllabus handbook well! More useful information about grading is here.

End of year barbeque and grading results

We will hold our end of year seminar and barbeque:

• Saturday 19 December
• 10:30am – 12:30pm
• Churchill Park School

Bring a salad or dessert to share, and wear casual clothes for some fun team games. The school will provide meat and drinks, and a BOUNCY CASTLE. Grading results will be awarded on the day.

All students and families are invited. RSVP to Master Banicevich by email (mbanicevich@itkd.co.nz) with the number of adults and children attending by Saturday 12 December.
