New classes in Kohimarama School from term 4!

• We are opening additional classes at Kohimarama School.
• Launching night is Monday 16 October 2017.
• Classes Mondays and Thursdays, 6-7pm, yellow and above to 7:30pm.

Hi everyone

I am very excited to announce that we are opening additional classes at Kohimarama School from the start of term 4. This class will be targeted at 7-11 year olds (or 6-12 year olds, depending upon who joins).

Opening night on Monday 16 October will be a big deal. Dr Valles, Mr Robson-Wright and Mr Stevens will be there to welcome parents and new students, and the Boosabum Development Squad will train there that night – 6-7:30pm. (Another instructor will teach the 5-6pm class that night – hopefully Mr Styles with Mrs Anderson.)

We want to pack the class, so I provided a special offer to every child at Kohimarama School. Hopefully it will be huge! (It is a small hall, so the maximum number is 25 new students.)

We already have seven students migrating from the Hsou Jing Do class, and I extend a warm welcome to you guys! Many of us already met them. Please say hello when you see them.

I will teach these classes, and Mr Villiers will assist when he returns from the World Championships in mid-November. Dr Valles and Mr Robson-Wright will kindly cover Thursdays at Churchill Park until Mr Villiers returns.

Anyone who lives closer to Kohimarama School than Glendowie or Churchill Park is welcome to come to Kohimarama School. Classes will run like those at Glendowie Primary School. The first hour will be targeted at white belts and yellow stripes, who will finish at 7pm. From 7-7:30pm, we will focus on Taekwon-Do for yellow belts and above – initially on yellow to green belt syllabuses.
