Avoid disappointment – enter the tournament before Friday!

Hi Parents

Remember a student who does not enter the Regional Tournament is not eligible to grade at the end of term 2 – tournaments are that important to a martial artist’s development. Help, please:

• We need help to unload mats, set up squares and other set up activities at the Netball Centre from about 4:30pm on Saturday 19th May (last year there was pizza afterwards).
• We also need help packing up after the tournament (packing mats and other items) at the Netball Centre.
• On the day, we’ll need help from parents to arrange all of our competitors, so please help each other.
• On the day, the tournament organisers also need help as ring marshals (training provided) time keepers, and other volunteers.

We have one of the largest schools in Auckland, we have a big group competing, and we have few qualified umpires – so we’ll need to help in other ways.

There is important information about the tournament in this FAQ document. Ask the class instructor if there is anything in your children’s events that they don’t know.
