The links to our schedule of 9 Zoom classes each week is here. Recordings of this week’s classes are below. We have four children and junior grade classes, two adult and senior grade classes, one for Taekwon-Do Kubz, one for parents and children, and one for the Boosabum Development Squad.
Monday 18 October 2021, children and junior grades
Joint rotations, fundamental movements for yellow belt to warm up, basic kicks white to yellow belt, saju jirugi, saju makgi, Chon-Ji, Dan-Gun, 3-step sparring alone, four stages of self-defence, releasing techniques from low wrist grabs, quick stretch.
Monday 18 October 2021, Boosabum Development Squad
Joint rotations, fundamental movements to warm up, kick for kick with a chair, patterns Chon-Ji to Choong-Moo, 1-step sparring alone, four stages of self-defence and brief self-defence theory, warm down and stretch.
Tuesday 19 October 2021, children and junior grades
Warm up with fundamental movements, basic kicks, saju jirugi, saju makgi, patterns, 3-step sparring (8th gup and 7th gup one way), free sparring drills, release from grabs (hands up one hand grab).
Tuesday 19 October 2021, adult and senior grades
Self-defence theory avoid, warm up with fundamental movements (hands and then kicks), free sparring drills, self-defence (own grade), warm down and stretch.
Wednesday 20 October 2021, children and junior grades
Joint rotations, free sparring drills (stepping, hand counters, side piercing kick), saju jirugi, saju makgi, patterns to Do-San, 3-step sparring (8th gup and 7th gup one way), releasing techniques (yellow belt syllabus), know your contact details, warm down and stretch, turning in the white belt handbook.
Thursday 21 October 2021, children and junior grades
Fundamental movements to warm up, saju jirugi, saju makgi, patterns Chon-Ji to Do-San, releasing techniques (yellow belt syllabus, wrist and arm grabs), self-defence avoid stage.
Thursday 21 October 2021, adults and senior grades
Self-defence de-escalate stage, joint rotations, fundamental movements for own grade, Do-San, own pattern, self-defence for own grade, warm down and stretch.
Saturday 23 October 2021, Taekwon-Do Kubz
Working through the Kubz manual, name address and phone number, warm up (with jogging, bear crawls, crab walking, lizard crawls), punches and kicks, healthy eating and healthy food game, cushion work, yop chagi (on the spot, fade away, flying in, flying up, multiple on the spot), tidy your room.
Saturday 23 October 2021, parents and children
Joint rotations, traditional warm up, fundamental movements (white, yellow, green), Dan-Gun, Won-Hyo, 3-step sparring (yellow belt), 2-step sparring (green belt), warm down and stretch.
