Inner forearm middle block for all white belts
Hi everyone
The inner forearm middle block is a required technique for white belt. It blocks an attack to the middle section, with the inner forearm.
- the blocking arm crosses beneath the other arm
- both palms face downward when crossing
- cross with the tops of the fist at shoulder height
- both hands twist during the block
- the blocking hand finishes with the knuckles at shoulder height
- the other hand pulls back to the hip
- the blocking hand finishes in the line of the nipple, “chest line” – don’t block too wide!
