Learn tournament rules and umpiring at the Umpire Course

The best way to learn tournament rules is to attend an umpires course. We have two courses coming up:

• Sunday 17 May 2020, 21 Soljan Drive Henderson;
• Saturday 18 July 2020, 60 Sir William Avenue East Tamaki.

Black belts and red belts should do the course and umpire in as many tournaments as you can. There are minimum umpiring requirements for black belt grades from 2nd degree, and you don’t want to be caught short!

Umpires courses cost $25, and run 9am-4:30pm.
