Grading invoices are sent!

Hi Parents and Students

Grading invoices were sent over Easter. Please note:

• Grading and training fees must be paid before grading.
• Report sheets must be provided before grading day.
• Check your junk mail folder in case your invoice is there.
• An invitation to grade is not a guarantee to pass.

When is grading?

If your invoice is for $25, your child is grading for a mini-kids grade. Grading is on Monday 9 April, 6:00-7:30pm at Churchill Park School.

If your invoice is for $45 and your child is a Kubz student, grading is Saturday 14 April, 9:00-10:30am, at Churchill Park School.

Other students are grading for formal grades. (Fees depend on grade – $60, $70 or $80 – and there are discounts if two or more from a family are grading for formal grades.) Grading is Tuesday 10 April, 6:00-8:30pm at Churchill Park School.

Note that all gradings are at Churchill Park School, not at Glendowie Primary School or Kohimarama School.

Report sheets must be delivered before grading day

If your child is under 13, we request a report sheet every term. A student may not grade without a completed report sheet. (We once had an incident of a student with a poor result not handing it in.)

Deliver report sheets to the class instructor at least one week before grading. There is a lot of paper to shuffle at gradings, and reconciling report sheets on grading day makes the grading take much longer.

You must perform at your very best on grading day

Some students that I invited to grade are very borderline. If they do not perform at their best on grading day, they will not pass.

Some students did not perform at their best at pregrading. However, it has been some time since they last graded, and they have attended many sessions since last grading. If these students perform at grading they way the performed at pregrading, they will not pass.

All students must practise all of their syllabus and the syllabuses below so they can perform at their best on grading day. They should also know all of their theory.
