Zoom classes week beginning 30 August 2021

Remember that you don’t need a huge space to do Zoom classes at home. We work with you in your limited space and do the best Taekwon-Do session we can.

Monday 30 August 2021, Zoom class for children and junior grades

Warm up, dynamic kicks, kick for kick, power in kicks, leg strength (hands and knees), hip power and sine wave in hand movements, saju jirugi and saju makgi, own pattern, warm down and stretch.

Monday 30 August 2021, Zoom class for the Boosabum Development Squad

Warm up, dynamic kicks, push ups, kick for kick, power in kicks, leg strength (hands and knees), hip power and sine wave in hand movements, own pattern, warm down and stretch.

Tuesday 31 August 2021, children and junior grades

Warm up with Mr Sapir, various fundamental hand techniques, create 3-step sparring, using hip for power, saju jirugi and saju makgi, own pattern, warm down and stretch.

Tuesday 31 August 2021, adults and senior grades

Various fundamental hand techniques, create 3-step sparring, free sparring drills, kick for kick, push ups, own pattern (use hip and sine wave), warm down and stretch.

Wednesday 1 September 2021, children and junior grades

Syllabus book, walking stance and L-stance dimensions, warm up, fundamental movements in L-stance, saju jirugi and saju makgi, Chon-Ji and own pattern, free sparring drills, kick for kick, warm down and stretch, (after class) forming a fist, punching motion, forearm low block, walking stance, punch forward block backward.

Thursday 2 September, children and junior grades

Simon says with Mr West, fundamental movements (sitting stance and walking stance), spot turns and step turns, own pattern and saju jirugi, free sparring drills with a chair, shadow sparring a chair, kick for kick, warm down and stretch.

Thursday 2 September, adults and senior grades

Warm up, calisthenics, fundamental movements, spot turns, step turns, turning in patterns, foot shifting (single foot), warm down and stretch.

Saturday 4 September, Taekwon-Do Kubz

Noodle tag, stepping, yop chagi and spinning dollyo chagi, cushion work, teamwork, tidy room, Sahyun says, washing hands, toilet tag, kicking drills, quiet breathing.

Saturday 4 September, parents and children

Joint rotations, noodle warmup, yop chagi/side kick (lifting the knee, on hands and knees, using a chair, then explosive power), pivoting for saju jirugi and using the hips, saju jirugi, saju makgi, Chon-Ji, Dan-Gun, fade away side kick, warm down and stretch.
